Recovering Accidentally Deleted Text

If you accidentally delete a paragraph or scene:

  1. 1

    Immediate Undo: Press Cmd+Z (Mac) or Ctrl+Z (Windows) repeatedly to step backward through recent keystrokes.

  2. 2

    Version History: If the deletion happened earlier, open Versions in the toolbar and restore the snapshot from 10 minutes ago.

  3. 3

    Project Trash: If an entire chapter card was deleted from the sidebar, open the Trash bin in the sidebar to restore it.
