Consent to process text and voice
This page explains what happens when you agree to the processing of your text and voice in the consent window. Consent is only needed for the features that use AI: the Writing Assistant, proofreading and dictation. Without it you can still write, edit and store your texts in Storello as usual.
1. What is sent
Only what is needed to produce a reply, and only at the moment you yourself turn to the AI:
- your question or request to the assistant;
- the passage or chapter you ask it to review, correct or check, and the details from your project needed for the reply;
- a voice recording — when you dictate.
If you consent, project texts are processed in the same way for “project memory” and meaning-based search. Without consent they are not sent anywhere.
2. Who processes it and why
Processing is performed by external AI services, including servers located in the USA. The data is passed on only to prepare a reply for you: not for advertising and not for sale. For details on cross-border transfers and your rights, see the Privacy Policy.
3. Training on your texts
AI is not trained on your texts: under their terms, the services behind the assistant do not use the texts sent to them to train models. We do not train AI on your texts either.
4. How to withdraw consent
At any time: Settings → “Legal information” → the row “AI services: text and voice processing” → “Disabled”. After that the assistant, proofreading and dictation stop working until you agree again. Withdrawal takes effect from the moment you make it; the consent log is kept as proof that consent was given.
